ROY KEANE looked on in disgust and said Kyle Walker should be “ASHAMED” for his theatrics against Manchester United.
Walker's City were leading United 1-0 in the Manchester derby when the two teams clashed before half-time.
The England full-back was involved in a collision when he tripped striker Rasmus Hojlund before the pair went nose-to-nose.
And Walker then threw himself to the ground despite there being no contact.
Sky Sports brilliantly replayed the moment for Keane at half-time, adding a drop-down screen to show the United legend's reaction.
Unsurprisingly, the Irish hardman grimaced and said: “You don't mind this at all, this is going to happen in the game. A bit argy-bargy of course.
“But I look at it, he's clearly blocked, but Walker, of course, it's a foul and a free kick and Hojlund is not happy, that's fine.
“And he goes there, how can Walker… Walker should be ashamed of himself. He must be ashamed to go down like that.
“An experienced player, listen, there is no contact. Look, I don't know that man and I'm ashamed of him. It's embarrassing.”
Micah Richards interjected: “He's better than that.”
Keane, who showed off his shaved hair in the studio, replied: “Is that so? I'm not so sure.”
Both Hojlund and Walker were booked for the incident.
United came into the match with Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho surprisingly left out of the team.
And manager Ruben Amorim seemed to suggest it was down to performances on the training and match pitch.
He said: “We try to evaluate everything: training performance, game performance, commitment to teammates and improving their teammates.
“Everything is at stake as we analyze the players and try to choose. It's my selection. Simple.”
“I don't want to send a message, it's just an evaluation and they know that. The players are really smart.
“Everyone understands my decision and I have to choose. It's a simple selection.
“Of course the context is difficult because we have to win games and we have a difficult situation now.
“I pay attention to everything, the way you eat, the way you put on your clothes when you go to a match. Everything. I make my evaluation and then I decide.”
United then suffered further misery when Mason Mount limped off injured within 15 minutes.
