Roy Keane has told Liverpool -Baas Arne Slot which three positions he should strengthen in the summer transfer window.
Last weekend Liverpool secured their 20th league title to close an excellent debut campaign at the helm for Slot.
However, thoughts are already starting to go to next season and how the Reds can strengthen in the transfer market.
Liverpool was beaten 3-1 to Chelsea on Sunday, where Slot Koos chose to make some changes to his starting line-up.
Keane believes that although Liverpool has a strong team, there are still different areas in which they can improve.
Former Liverpool -Stars Daniel Sturridge and Jamie Redknapp also issued their verdicts for an intriguing transfer window.
According to Keane, Liverpool has to look at a left back, a center-back and possibly a striker this summer.
Speaking at Sky Sports, Keane said: 'They want to support that. That is the big challenge for Liverpool. Possibly a left back, a middle half, I might say striker. They have won the competition, they will be a big attraction for many players. Winning the fantastic of the competition, you have to back up again next year. '
Sturridge agreed that a new attacker should be high on Liverpool's list of priorities.
Moreover, Sturridge suggested that it is vital that Liverpool Defender Ibrahima Konate is a new contract, with his current deal that was just over a year left.
Sturridge said: 'Certainly an attacker, a striker. Jota has been the most important man, but they probably need another striker, possibly a backup for Mo.
'You also have to lock up Konate. His collaboration with Van Dijk is the key to the success of the team. It is always good to have a partnership that you can trust and trust. '
Bournemouth Defender Milos Kerkez is strongly connected to a move to Anfield, but while Redknapp praised the links, he suggested that Andy Robertson should not be written off.
Redknapp said: 'I would not write Robertson, top player great professional. Kerkez has been great for Bournemouth. He is like a younger version. '
Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Hugo Ekitike is also mentioned as a potential option for Liverpool.
Redknapp said: 'Ekitike is mentioned. Darwin Nunez did not succeed. It does not need a major operation, they have just won the title. '
Last summer Liverpool made only one signing, with Federico Chiesa, who this season largely visited the Franjes and participated in Juventus.
