Roy Keane’s stance on Bruno Fernandes exit as Real Madrid chase Man Utd star

Captain Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United is a target of the summer transfer for Real Madrid in the aftermath of his fine form this season, but Roy Keane has his own thoughts about the midfielder.

Bruno Fernandes often divides opinions, but it is not to be denied that the Captain of Manchester United is extremely talented. So, with that in mind, it might not be a surprise to hear that Real Madrid is said to follow the midfielder in Portugal prior to the summer transfer window.

The shape of Fernandes, 30, has been one of the few radiant lights in a bad season for the Red Devils. And with United a way behind their Premier League rivals when it comes to a challenge for major awards, the future of Fernandes could be a huge talk point again, just like last summer.

The star revealed on Saturday that Real Madrid would like to add Fernandes to the team of Carlo Ancelotti with scouts who attend the most United matches this season.

Fernandes only signed a new contract last summer, but his wish to win trophies could make a step to Spain irresistible while United Wait to see what the next step of Real will be.

Although the ability of Fernandes on the field is rarely in question, his body language and attitude have been picked apart by some experts in the past. Former United Captain Roy Keane is one of those who find Fernandes, the bracelet is not allowed to wear.

The Irish also recently spotted during a resting party, was the football episode when Ian asked Wright where United would be in the competition, were it not for the beautiful form of Fernandes. They were 15th at the time of recording, but Keane was stunned. He said: “Save us? They are 15th in the competition and he saves them? Prize the Lord. You have to have a starting point. I am all going back to it – talent is not enough. Bruno is a talented player, but talent is not enough.”

When Ian Wright then tried to set up a defense of Fernandes, Keane continued: “You talk to me [about] With whom you were in a dressing room. “Tony Adams was this,” “was Tony Adams that.” Yes, because he was a hunter. Bruno is not a hunter. You have young players. You have to look at someone and go 'I like what he does'.

“They can't put the ball in the top of the net from 25 meters, I understand that. But you want someone who goes,” guys, are you with me? “

Although Keane may not be the biggest fan of Fernandes, Ruben Amorim has repeatedly praised his captain since Erik ten Hag succeeded in November.

But although the Red Devil's boss Fernandes can keep in the highest regard, the gloomy financial situation of United can leave them a large dilemma if Real Madrid chooses to manage their interest in Fernandes in the coming months.
