Ruben Amorim forced into Man Utd transfer decision as rival plot ambitious move

Leroy Sane is the subject of interest from Galatasaray, which could force Manchester United into action.

The Bayern Munich winger's future in Germany remains unclear and the Turkish champions want to make an ambitious bid to bring him to Istanbul. Galatasaray have arranged a meeting so that they can discuss the prospect of signing the winger, reports Fotomac.

United themselves have been linked with the 28-year-old, who previously played for nearby Manchester City, where he won two Premier League titles.

Ruben Amorim is looking to improve his side in almost every department and Sane could add some much-needed attacking flair down the flanks. He scored double figures for goals in every season he played for Bayern and his pace would be a huge asset, especially in a 3-4-3.

The Old Trafford outfit are operating with limited resources, which could hamper their activities in January, but Sane's contract is expiring, allowing clubs to sign him cheaply with the German who is by no means a regular starter.

Sane claims he has had “very good and trusting” discussions with Vincent Kompany and a number of leading figures at the club, including sporting director Christoph Freund. He told Bild: “That's why my thoughts are really only on Bayern at the moment. We'll see the rest in the coming week and months.”

“I feel good at the club and in the dressing room. What matters to me is that I am an important part of Bayern's plans and I want to confirm that role.”

Some reports claim the ex-City man would have to take a pay cut if he wants to stay at the Allianz Arena, but Sane insists money is not his immediate priority and he wants to focus on other things instead, including potential to win the title. Champions League.

“In general, how much I make is not my first priority. To be honest, I haven't thought about it yet,” he said. “It's about the whole package. What is my position? How does the club see me? What is the playing philosophy? Can we achieve something great together, like winning the Champions League? Those are the things that matter most to me.”
