Ruben Amorim: Man Utd head coach says Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho, Tyrell Malacia could have future at club

Ruben Amorim says that the Wilaway players from Manchester United can have a future at the club if their asking price is not achieved.

Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia explore the movements away from Old Trafford this summer.

Speaking on Friday prior to their first Premier League Summer Series match against West Ham in the United States on Sunday, which is live on Sky Sports, Amorim insisted that United will not sell the quartet for a Cut-Price fee and she would re-integrate into his team if they are not sold.

Asked if the club was worried about losing value to those players to sell them, Amorim said: “That is not the case because there are several reasons for the players [wanting to leave]. Some players have to find a new place to have room in the team. Other players show that they want a new challenge and a new team.

“We only let these players think and decide. If they reach a point where they should come to the team, they will participate because they are our players.

“I am sure that Omar (Barrada, CEO) and Jason (Wilcox, director of football) and the club have a number (price) for these players. If they don't achieve that, they will be Manchester United players, undoubtedly there. I understand that other clubs might wait at the last minute, but they can have a surprise.

“I am ready to receive the players. They have more competition. If they want to play in the World Cup, they have to play. I am happy with that because I have more options. If they have to fight each other to play, it is perfect for me.”
