Ruben Amorim revealed that he is willing to resign as Manchester United manager if he cannot turn the disastrous form of the club.
United suffered their 17th Premier League defeat of the season with the 2-0 defeat against West Ham in Old Trafford on Sunday.
The Red Devils are Winless in Seven Prem Games with two draw and five losses – their joint -long run in the competition since 1992.
The Europa League finalists were in 16th place when goals of Tomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen West Ham saw them jumping in the table.
Amorim seemed down after the full -time whistle and then revealed that he is ready to leave the club if he can't turn things around.
The 40-year-old said: “I don't want to talk about the players. I am talking about myself and the culture in the club and the culture in the team. I have that feeling.
“We have to change that and we must be really strong in the summer and be brave.
“Because we don't have season next year. If the feeling is still there, we have to give the space to different people.
“So it's a big problem that we have here at the club. It is a decisive moment in the history of the club. We have to tackle that.
“We lose the feeling that we are a huge club and the feeling that this is not the biggest thing in the world that loses a game at home.
“We no longer have that fear and that is the most dangerous one that a big club can have.
“I think it's a concern. It is not the fault of the players. It's my fault, I am responsible.
“If we can't change that so quickly, we have to give our place to different people.
“If you look at the goals we suffer, we can avoid these goals. The lack of energy, of urgency. Those are the most dangerous things in this club.
“You can feel it at the start of the game. There is a lack of urgency between our box and the opponent's box. That is something that we have to change in this club.”
United suffered their ninth home premerator of the season, their joint losses once home losing in a single league campaign, together with 1930/31, 1933/34 and 1962/63.
The Red Devils fell 1-0 this season in Old Trafford in the competition, where only Leicester (15) does this more at home.
Amorim added: “We are not playing so well in the Europa League, but we have a different sense of urgency.
“It is something we have to work on. It is in the field and outside the field.
“If we can't do it, we have to leave and give the space to different people. All.
“We are confronted with a team of Premier League in the final, so we are going to struggle.
“Of course we will be more focused, and that is a concern because we have to be focused every game.
“For me it doesn't matter if we win the Europa League because the problems are much greater than that.”
United is opposed to Tottenham, whom they have defeated three times this season, in the final in the Bilbao on 21 May.
Spurs are also set for an embarrassing end of the season, while the men from Ange Postecoglou fell to the 17th after losing 2-0 from Crystal Palace.
Despite their terrible domestic season, United could still sneak into the Champions League if they beat traces in Bilbao in 10 days.
Yet Amorim said: “I am not worried about the final. It is by far the smallest problem in our club.
“They will be focused for the final, but I don't know what is best, if it plays in Champions League or not.”
