Ruben Amorim’s stance on Andre Onana after Man Utd star drops transfer hint

The goalkeeper of Manchester United Andre Onana has been examined with the former Ajax star, is the transfer interest for the summer window despite a long -term contract

Andre Onana will get the chance to complete a transfer to the Saudi Pro League this summer, unless the club wants to see him old traffic. And Ruben Amorim has already expressed his opinion on his number 1.

The former Ajax and Inter -goalkeeper was seen as a milestone signing when he arrived at the club. The Cameroon International has passed a difficult start of life in the Premier League with a few with error -treated versions.

Onana seemed to have overcome them, but has seen criticism of his screenings against people like Ipswich this period. Links to the Middle East have developed in the midst of an inconsistent campaign.

The summer will see Amorim's first true chance to shape his team after he was limited to two signing sessions in January. So far there has been no shortage of speculation about signing a keeper, but it is crucial to bring extra competition for Onana.

Third-Choice Shotstopper Tom Heaton will leave at the end of the current campaign, while a backup option Altay Bayindir is confronted with questions about his future in the middle of links to Sunderland's Anthony Patterson earlier this season, and more recently Joan Garcia from Espanyol.

Onana has three years on his contract that signed for £ 47 million. Nevertheless, it has been reported that United has taken two keepers to replace the 28-year-old.

Amorim, however, has previously provided a supporter for his first choice -goalkeeper and told him to look to the future. “I think he has endured this (stage) in the past year,” said the head coach.

“I am not sure. There were a number of difficult moments. But this season he did a number of great rescues that can save our team and sometimes has some problems. But that is normal and I think if you look through our team, you can find many players with that problem, so I think we don't perform as well as a team and sometimes some players have problems.

“People talk a lot about the second goal of Ipswich. He is waiting for the touch of (Liam) Delap. I think that is really clear, and then the ball remains the goal, so that can happen.

“We just have to support Andre, as if we support all players and prepare the next game. Forget the past and prepare the future.”

Onana is not agitating to leave the club, but is expected to be the target of the Saudi Pro League this summer. That could still see United choose to cash in the 28-year-old star, in the midst of the financial situation of the Red Devils, and then bring in a replacement.
