Jon Jones' Mega announcement disrupted the feathers of many UFC fans in the hope of news about a potential Octagon recovery.
UFC Heavyweight Champion Jones almost this week almost broke the internet when he teased a 'huge announcement' in the midst of speculation about a fighting return. After he had put Stipe Miocic in his first heavyweight title defense in November, Jones and his team immediately started negotiations with the UFC Brass for a potential fight with interim champion Tom Aspinall.
Since winning the then vacant heavyweight belt in 2023, the activity level of Jones has remained low due to injury and delayed contract discussions. He initially refused to fight Asinall in the run -up to UFC 309, but turned that position after completing Miocic with Aspinall sitting octagonide.
Despite expressing optimism about completing a deal with the UFC to return to the Octagon later this year, Jones will not be booked for a potential comeback. Aspinall, who defended the interim -heavyweight belt on UFC 304, is becoming more and more frustrated by the Hiatus of Jones.
Although the announcement of Jones was aimed at a noble case, it was not what many UFC fans hoped for.

In a message to his social media pages, Jones announced his support for a non-profit organization aimed at challenging the current American health care system.
“Although this may not be a traditional fight for me, it is clear that too many Americans are wounded and forced to do medical debts or bankruptcy through a health care system that is so greedy that hospitals and insurers hide their actual prices so that they can charge us Bringing what they want what they want, “started Jones.
“Their” estimates “are nonsense and business greed in American health care is the breaking of people and families in the United States. I have seen it countless times in my own community where I have friends, family and neighbors who are afraid to even even even get the care they need, because the entire system, without real prices, is unfair and rigged for business profit.
“Time to keep these bullying heads responsible in health care. Power to people … Power for the patients. '
Although the announcement of Jones was aimed at a noble case, UFC fans were not happy after he initially expected that he announced his return to the Octagon, probably against Aspinall.
“My day ruined,” a fan replied.
“When did Tom start working for the health care system?” Another responded.
“I am f – pink guys”
“This is not a single way the big announcement.”
“We all knew it would not be a fight.”
“Mannn that was super disappointing.”
“Did anyone else just click on the video before he even said something?”
“I thought this would be the wedding proposal of you and Dana.”
“Tom was right, he will retire Jones without even fighting him.”
“This is number one BU— -“
The latest update from UFC CEO Dana White about Jones vs. Aspinall did not reveal alleged 'hold up' in negotiations, after rumors Jones asked for $ 30 million to return. But White also shared that he would probably strip Jones of the heavyweight title if Aspinall Fight Talks did not progress.
Dana White threatened to strip Jon Jones if the Tom Aspinall fight fell through it
Another interesting element for the Jones vs. Aspinall fight is the interest of Jones to design UFC -light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira. After Jones had repeatedly summoned a Pereira fight before UFC 309, Pereira showed mutual interest in having the battle take place for his UFC 313 title defense.
If the Jones vs. Aspinall Fight Talks will not make significant progress in the coming weeks, White and the UFC can take drastic action against the heavyweight champion to keep the division moving. Aspinall could possibly experience another top candidate, such as Ciryl Gane, extends for the empty title such as the UFC Jones.
In response to a faint weight battle at UFC Saudi Aarabia, Aspinall Jones put in to 'stop' their fight to return entertainment to the division. At the moment, Aspinall's comments are not addressed by Jones.
Jones vs. Aspinall would probably be the biggest fight in the heavyweight history of UFC. But for now the matchup has more questions than answers.
