Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistorrooy taught one of his senior players after the midfielder refused to make a compromise on his 100-Mile shuttle service in training, according to reports.
The Dutchman was reportedly involved in a heated confrontation with former international Harry Winks in England after he rejected a request to spend the night once a week on the Foxes training field in North Leicestershire.
According to the Telegraph, Winks, 29, is one of the three senior Leicester players who travel more than 90 miles to the Seagrave training base of the club every day.
The newspaper claims that the former Tottenham star, who came to Leicester in July 2023 for a fee of £ 10 million, has allowed its own private reasons for commuting nearly 100 miles to training every day-a journey by ex-Foxes boss Enzo Maresca.
