Arsenal Baas Mikel Arteta says that Bukayo Saka has a “good chance” to return to action after the international break.
The 23-year-old required surgery after a hamstring injury in Arsenal's 5-1 win over Crystal Palace in December.
Arteta said in midweek that Saka made “very good progress” and after the 1-0 victory of Arsenal over Chelsea on Sunday, Arteta was asked about the chances of Saka to show in April.
“Yes, he has a good chance,” Arteta told Sky Sports.
Arsenal-Gastheer Fulham on Thursday 1 April when they return to Premier League Action and then will then organize Real Madrid on Saturday 5 April before they organize Real Madrid for the first stage of their quarter-final of Champions League.
On Friday, Arteta said: “He will be here [at the Arsenal training ground]Hopefully more with ball at his feet than he had, “said Arteta.
“That means he passes and shoot and run the ball and everything. He has already done quite a bit on the field.
“Then we have to arrange it with people around him in a more competitive training session and see how he goes with it.
“He is getting closer, he comes up and makes a very good progress, I would say.
“So let's see when we start throwing him in with the team how he reacts and how he can get fit quickly.”
