Saka returns to Arsenal training two weeks before Madrid first leg

Bukayo Saka shared the news about his return to training on Thursday in a boost to the Arsenal season.

“Hello again”, the English international wrote on his Instagram page next to a photo of a smiling Saka in his Arsenal training kit.

Saka has been out of operation since he tore his hamstring against Crystal Palace in December.

The victory in that match left Arsenal only three points next to the top of the Premier League table, although they had played two more games than Liverpool.

In the absence of Saka, the Gunners have earned only 25 points of 12 games, with Liverpool achieving 34 points from 14 games.

Arsenal has also lost colleague attackers Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus on injuries and leaving both the FA Cup and the EFL cup.

However, it is crucial that the men of Mikel Arteta stay in the Champions League, with Saka now in line to play in a quarter -final double header against Real Madrid next month.

BBC Sport did indeed reported on Thursday that Saka could even make his return in the next game from Arsenal against Fulham on Tuesday.
