Arsenal star Bukayo Saka returned to full training with Arsenal with a hamstring injury after three months.
The Gunners were given a brutal blow when the attacker was injured in December against Crystal Palace, an injury that would play a role in the title of the club that fell away again.
He has been one of a number of attacking injuries this season, with the calls of Mikel Arteta for winter winters that fall on deaf ears and which means that Mikel Merino played from position.
But the absence of Saka was perhaps the most felt, where the English winger was the Talisman of Arsenal for a large part of the campaign and caused a dive in creativity from an attacking point of view.
However, players are starting to return, with Gabriel Martinelli Al Fit and Saka now back in full training. Arsenal had hoped that he would train after the international break.
However, he is now back on the grass with the first team, in which Arsenal shares a snap of the wing player on social media on Thursday with the caption: 'hard work'. A return time line for when he will be back in action remains unclear.
This season, Saka has contributed with nine goals and 13 assists in all competitions for the Gunners.
After undergoing an operation, he posted a photo of himself on Instagram and promised to come back stronger.
He wrote: 'The majority sees obstacles, but few see the opportunities. Recovery has started and I will come back stronger! Thank you all for your messages. '
Arteta originally suggested that his star man would be offside for two months. However, his return comes at a good time when Arsenal Hunt Champions League Glory prior to an upcoming quarterfinals with Holders Real Madrid.
In the meantime, Arsenal will open contract discussions with Bukayo Saka about a new deal.
The 23-year-old English international signed his current contract in 2022, but that ends in the summer of 2027.
The Gunners want to avoid any uncertainty about the future of their star player and will make a priority for a longer contract for a longer contract.
