Saka shows class in celebration as he scores just 7 mins into Arsenal return

Bukayo Saka scored only seven minutes in his first performance in 101 days.

The Arsenal star, 23, was missing since he underwent a hamstring operation in December.

Baas Mikel Arteta revealed on Monday that Saka was completely ready and was full to go.

The winger was mentioned on the couch for tonight's collision with Fulham and was thrown in the 66th minute before Ethan Nwaneri.

Only seven minutes later he found the net, on his way home from close by after the film by Gabriel Martinelli.

Saka immediately ran to the Arsenal bank to celebrate.

The English star excluded fitness coach Sam Wilson.

Arsenal's No7 has known Wilson for several years, after he also worked with him in the Gunners' Under-21S team.

The North Londoners had already led 1-0 when Saka was introduced, thanks to the heavily deflected first half of Mikel Merino.

Rodrigo Muniz then scored a late comfort, although Arsenal saw a 2-1 win.

Arteta's side lost Gabriel van injury only 16 minutes after the game.

The Brazilian went down with his hamstring after a chase with Adama Traore.

Gabriel, 27, started shaking his head and was replaced by Jakub Kiwior.

The middle behind is now a big doubt for next week's huge Champions League collision with Real Madrid.

Reporting about the injury on Sky Sports News, said former Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood about Gabriel: “He will not be the first player to have picked a hamstring to chase Adama Traore.

“That is what happened in the middle of the field and it seemed that he has just torn it. That is his season over.

“If that is a bad hamstring, he is ready. He walks away, but he shakes his head, he doesn't look good.”

Arsenal is the next in action on Saturday while standing opposite Everton in Goodison Park.

Saka and Co will then receive Real Madrid on Tuesday in the first stage of their quarterfinals of Champions League.
