Saka watches Arsenal Women thump bitter rivals Spurs in the north London derby

Bukayo Saka was seen on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium for Arsenal Women's North London Derby against Tottenham.

The wing player of the Gunners was accompanied by his old girlfriend, Tolami Benson, with whom he started dating at the end of 2020, together with their dog.

It is understood that Dutch international Jurrien Timber had also attended the game.

The match in the Emirates Stadium resulted in a dominant 5-0 win for the hosts, to secure three crucial points in their run to challenge the leaders of the Super League of Women, Chelsea.

The blues, however, continue to trust in the first place with 40 points, seven points lead in second place in Manchester United, after their 2-1 win over Everton on Sunday.

Chloe Kelly made her first performance for Arsenal in seven years after her exit from Manchester City earlier this month and went into the fight in the second half from the bank.

The 27-year-old was part of the Gunners' Academy System between 2010 and 2015, before graduating in the Senior Team.

'Since I entered this club, I have felt a warm welcome. 'What a game to (make my debut), the derby. It felt great, “said Kelly.

She appeared in the 61st minute, to replace Caitlin Foord, but the game was already decided with a 4-0 on the scores.

The Dominance of Arsenal started with its own goal from the center of the opponent Clare Hunt in the 15th minute, followed by another in the first half of Mariona Caldentey.

In the second half of the match, Foord assured two assists after both Frida Maanum and Alessia Russo found the back of the net in the 52nd and 58th minute respectively, before the last goal of Emily Fox in the last moments of the collision.

In the meantime, Saka has been put aside since the end of December after his operation due to a serious hamstring injury during Arsenal's 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace in Selhurst Park.

Although the exact dates remain unknown for his return, the sun reported earlier that the winger could be off for eight weeks, with a potential comeback mid -April.

It is understood that Saka has returned to light training during the Winter Training Camp of Arsenal in the United Arab Emirates.

His rapid recovery could give an important boost to the Gunners who wounded wounded during the entire campaign of 2024-25.

They currently miss several important players, such as Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Takehiro Tomiyasu.

The German has sustained a hamstring injury in Dubai and has already undergone an operation, whereby his recovery program extends to the next period before the season.
