Saka’s celebration speaks volumes after scoring seven minutes into injury return

Bukayo Saka made his long-awaited return of an injury on Tuesday evening and made an immediate impact when he scored in Arsenal's 2-1 victory over Fulham and ran to recognize the fitness coach who helped him in his recovery

Arsenal Bukayo Saka made a Beeline for fitness coach Sam Wilson after scoring just seven minutes in his return of an injury to Fulham – after he played a major role in the recovery of the winger. Saka wasted little time to eliminate on Tuesday evening at his comeback from the Emirates, while he shot the second goal of the Gunners of the match in a 2-1 victory.

Arteta introduced Saka in the 66th minute and came up for Ethan Nwaneri, and he enjoyed the perfect game while he went home from Gabriel Martinelli's Flick-on. Saka drove away and ran around the goal while making it a point to run directly to Wilson to hug him, thank him for helping to get back to the field.

Wilson has been with Arsenal since 2014 and initially started as a coach under the age of 18 before he goes under 21 years under 21 and eventually becomes the first team fitness coach.

Saka had not played a match since the end of December after he had torn and was forced to undergo surgery on the issue that has excluded him four months.

His absence was part of a paralyzing injury crisis that excludes a large number of Arsenal attackers, including Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus and Martinelli – with Saka's return that offered a huge boost for the team.

Arsenal has eight games left in the Premier League while watching their smart Premier League-Hoop alive and his return comes to the perfect time before the quarterfinals of the team against Real Madrid.

So far, Saka has 10 goals and 13 assists this season and losing him was a bitter blow to Arteta and the Spaniard could not hide his joy to get him back in the team this week – to call him “a huge weapon” while announcing his return.

“Bukayo Saka is ready to go,” he said. “All careful things have already been done. Now it's about putting him on the grass at the right time, but he pushes because he really wants it.

“We have respected the timeline and we did everything. Bukayo is a huge weapon that we have.

“We know the impact he has in the team and how important his role and contribution to our success is.”
