Salah and Alexander-Arnold are pulled apart after apparent spat during training

This is the moment when Liverpool stars Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah were separated after a seemingly light exchange in training.

The winger could not help it, but smile like the will of Ibrahima Konate, Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones played peacemakers.

In the meantime, Alexander-Arnold kept the exchange on the way to the training pitch.

Sources near the club have since confirmed that it was all a bit light -hearted pleasure, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The duo was later seen laughing and jokes around the training complex.

Liverpool is currently leading the Premier League table, 15 points free from the second place Arsenal with nine more games to play.

They have a huge week ahead, with the second leg of their Champions League Last-16 Clash with Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.

The Reds are then confronted with Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final on Wembley on Sunday.

He said: “Of course we confronted with Arsenal and Manchester City. It is not that there are big margins, but the intensity [PSG] Plays in combination with the quality they have – let's be honest, we are talking about the richest club – so they have so much quality and a great manager because he brings the best out of every player.

“He brings an incredible working speed to the team, so that's why I think we should be at our best tomorrow.

'I wasn't over it [PSG’s] performance. They made a big impression on me. Before the game last week I watched many of their games and I was really impressed by the intensity where they play, the team cohesion, the rotations in midfield.

“They are such a complete team, such a well -managed team and we experienced that last Wednesday. Some people said we played arms, I don't agree. I think they played very well.

“I don't think we have confronted a team this season that combines that quality with so much intensity, but I think we can do better.

“I am not saying that we are playing badly or not at all, but we are a better team than we were last week, and that is something that we have to prove tomorrow with the help of our fans.”
