Mohamed Salah was seen with a £ 725,000 watch when he signed a new two -year -old deal with Liverpool on Friday morning.
Salah, 32, is one of the best players of Liverpool of all time, in which the Egyptian scored a remarkable 243 goals in 394 games for the club since he came to Roma in 2017 for a first fee of £ 36.5 million.
The attacker, who is the third highest scorer of the Reds, has won eight trophies in Anfield and remains an integral part of Arne Slot while they close the Premier League title.
Salah's previous contract would expire in the summer and speculation about his future was an important point of conversation during the campaign, in which the attacker regularly gave cryptic answers when he was questioned about his future.
On Friday, however, the club confirmed that he had put pen on paper on a new deal until 2027 worth £ 350,000 a week, which ended the dramatic Saga.
And when photos started to circulate of Salah's contract presentation, fans noticed what the Egyptian wore.
In addition to his Liverpool shirt and a bright smile, on his left wrist, Salah wore a rather chic blue watch.
The timepiece is by Richard Mille, a luxurious Swiss watch company that was founded in 2001.
The full name is the Richard Mille RM 17-02 Tourbillon Titanium and one website had the watch for sale for $ 949,999 (£ 725,000).
One overview of the product described it as: 'The new RM 17-02 Tourbillon Titanium Hearkkens back to some of the earliest models of the brand with Mille's Hallmark Tonneau-shaped suitcase formed from satin-finished grade 5 titanium.
'A biocompatible, very corrosion -resistant and remarkably rigid alloy, degree 5 titanium is 90 percent degree 5 titanium, 6 percent aluminium and 4 percent vanadium.
'The manual winding RM 17-02 debuted in 2022 with a lightweight TZP-Keramic and satin finished 18-carat red gold case and was limited to 30 pieces in white and blue versions each.
'Earlier this year the brand unveiled a version in White Quartz TPT, which was also limited to 30 pieces.
“Now this fourth titanium -literation, which is not limited, shows a more discreet character, which underlines timeless style with what can be seen as an almost retro atmosphere for old mille devoted.”
In the meantime, speaking after his new deal was announced, Salah expressed his joy and revealed the reasoning behind his decision.
“Of course I am very excited,” he told the official Liverpool website. “We now have a great team. Before that we also had a great team. But I signed because I think we have the chance to win other trophies and enjoy my football.
“It's great, I've had my best years here. I played eight years, hopefully it will be 10. I enjoy my life here and enjoy my football.
“My family also feels at home. We enjoy every moment in the city and every moment in the club.
'It is always a special moment when we play in Anfield. There is no place like that. The warmth that you feel on the inside, the number for the game.
“Everything about it, every moment you score a goal and they sing my song is something special.”
He continued: 'I would like to say it [the fans]I am very, very happy to be here. I signed here because I believe we can win many big trophies together.
“Keep supporting us and we give it our best, and hopefully we will win more trophies in the future.”
