Salah involved in most team goals in EPL- who is YOUR club’s most clutch player?

Mohamed Salah is firing Liverpool to the Premier League title – or at least doing his best to do so – and with the Egyptian leading the goalscoring charts with 13 top-flight goals, it's hard to argue that he isn't the best player in the league right now competition is.

Liverpool's two-point lead over Chelsea at the Premier League summit saw Arne Slot enjoy a dream debut at Anfield, with Salah rediscovering his best form under the Dutchman.

It's not just in the Premier League where Salah is starring, with the 32-year-old scoring twice in the Champions League to also put Liverpool top of the European rankings after six games.

Salah's recent stunning goals aren't the only impressive feat, with the winger also providing nine assists in the Premier League as Liverpool benefited from career-best form.

The Reds have scored 31 goals in the league this season and Salah's contribution, who has been involved in 71 percent of those, is the highest for any player in the division.

But while Salah remains away, Mail Sport takes a look at who has been the clutch player for each Premier League team this season.

Arsenal vs Bukayo Saka

It should come as no surprise to see Arsenal's star man starring as their star player, while Saka has again been involved in 15 goals this season, scoring five times and registering 10 assists.

His impressive tally means the Englishman has been involved in just over half (51.7 percent) of Arsenal's goals as the Gunners battle for the title.

Aston Villa – Ollie Watkins

It hasn't been the same stunning goal so far as the Aston Villa forward scored last season, but Watkins has – despite increased competition from Jhon Duran – been involved in more team goals than anyone else.

Seven goals and three assists in 16 Premier League appearances this season mean Watkins has contributed to 41.7 percent of Villa's 24 league goals. Impressive.

Bournemouth-Justin Kluivert

The Cherries have been one of the surprise packages in the Premier League this season, with Andoni Iraola taking the club to just four points off the Champions League places.

Kluivert has had a major influence on the club's rise. The Dutchman was involved in 30.4 percent of the team's goals, contributing five goals and two assists from the wing.

Brentford – Bryan Mbeumo

Mbeumo scored his tenth Premier League goal of the season in Sunday's 2-1 defeat to Chelsea as the 25-year-old continues to show he is one of the best strikers in the top flight this season.

Thomas Frank's side have been ruthless in front of goal, scoring 32 times this season and Mbeumo's contribution has seen him rise above his teammates, with the pace merchant contributing to 37.5 percent of the goals.

Brighton – Danny Welbeck

Formerly one of the Premier League's forgotten men, the former Manchester United forward is now Brighton's main striker, with the 34-year-old featuring in 30.8 percent of the club's 26 team goals.

Welbeck seems to have only gotten better with age and with six goals and two assists this season he is in good company among the league's top performers.

Chelsea Cole Palmer

Manchester City's loss is Chelsea's gain. Palmer continues where he left off last season, having been involved in more goals than any other player in the competition this season – apart from Salah and Erling Haaland.

Like his Liverpool counterpart, Palmer is a key figure in Chelsea's title challenge under Enzo Maresca. His 11 goals and six assists mean he has scored 45.9 percent of the team's goals.

Should Chelsea pull off the unthinkable in May by doing everything they can to lift the Premier League trophy, it will be largely down to Palmer's brilliance.

Crystal Palace – Jean-Philippe Mateta and Ismaila Sarr

Palace appear to have turned a corner after a shock 3-1 win over Brighton last weekend and Mateta has been crucial in easing the pressure on manager Oliver Glasner.

The Eagles have a much better attacking threat when Mateta is involved, and his four goals and a few assists make him a pivotal figure in the team, impacting 29.4 percent of the team's goals.

Coincidentally, Sarr has contributed exactly 29.4 percent of the goals this season.

Everton -Dwight McNeil

The Toffees have a three-point breather to the relegation zone after a draw against Arsenal on Saturday and former Burnley man McNeil is a growing influence in Sean Dyche's side.

He has been involved in six goals this season (three assists and three goals), meaning the 25-year-old has been a top contributor to 42.9 percent of Everton's 14 Premier League goals.

Fulham – Alex Iwobi

Marco Silva is big on sharing goals and assists across his forward line, but the former Arsenal man has shone above the rest of his teammates this season.

Fulham have found the net 24 times this season and Iwobi has been involved in just under half of those with 33.3 percent, making him a central figure in the club's plans to challenge for Europe.

Ipswich – Liam Delap

Rewind to recent years and Delap was a figure unlikely to ever reach the Premier League, but the Manchester City academy talent starred after joining Ipswich this summer.

His six goals have been crucial to the club's attempts to climb out of the bottom three and with a goal contribution of 43.8 percent he is certainly doing his bit for Ipswich's survival efforts.

Leicester – Jamie Vardy

Mr Leicester City himself is back in the Premier League and at the age of 37 continues to impress with his nine-goal contributions that are among the best in the top flight.

Newly appointed Foxes boss Ruud Van Nistelrooy is getting the best out of the veteran and Vardy shows no signs of slowing down as he has played a role in 42.9 percent of the team's 21 goals this season.

Manchester City – Erling Haaland

The reigning Premier League champions may be the worst player in the competition at the moment, with things taking a new turn after losing in dramatic circumstances to rivals Man United on Sunday, but the Norwegian is still City's biggest contributor.

He shone during the early parts of the season, scoring ten goals in the first five games of the season and being involved in exactly 50 percent of City's 28 league games.

But Haaland has scored just once in his past five appearances and if he can't score it's no wonder City are struggling.

Manchester United – Bruno Fernandes

The Portuguese has been the main man at Old Trafford since joining from Sporting Lisbon four years ago and has been making a real captain's contribution this season.

Fernandes scored from the spot to equalize against City on Sunday before Amad Diallo fired in an injury-time winner to take the playmaker's goal contribution to 42.9 percent.

Amorim's arrival appears to have given Fernandes back the freedom he previously enjoyed when he first set foot in Manchester and that can only prove to be a good thing for United.

Newcastle United – Alexander Isak

Seven goals and four assists in the Premier League this season show just how important Isak is to Newcastle, who are a team struggling to find the back of the net without him.

Isak is widely regarded as one of Europe's most talented strikers and has backed up that claim with seven goals and eight assists (a contribution of 47.8 percent) this season.

Nottingham Forest – Chris Wood

Forest battled relegation last season and now occupy the last spot in the Champions League, thanks in large part to Wood's stunning performances.

With ten goals in sixteen games in the Premier League, he is one of the most powerful attackers in the top flight this season. His role in 47.6 percent of Forest's goals shows the impact he is making on their stunning run.

Southampton – Adam Armstrong

The Saints have been the worst performers in the league this season, summed up by Russell Martin being sacked as manager after a 5-0 defeat to Spurs on Sunday and it is no surprise that their biggest contributor is bottom of the table.

Armstrong has been a stalwart for Southampton over the years and is doing his best this season, helping with three goals for a total of 27.3 percent. The struggling south coast club have scored just 11 goals this season and are heading straight back to the Championship on current form.

Tottenham – Son-Heungmin and James Maddison

Ange Postecoglou may have criticized his side's inconsistencies this season, but the club captain was a pivotal figure alongside England playmaker Maddison and both were involved in 30.6 percent of the team's 36 goals.

Son is in the final year of his contract with Spurs but is in talks to rightly extend his stay, while Maddison is doing everything he can to force himself back into contention with England.

Both have assisted in 11 goals each this season, with Son scoring five times and providing six assists, while Maddison has scored seven times and provided four assists.

West Ham – Jarrod Bowen

The Hammers hero is delivering once again this season and his improvements in recent weeks are playing a big role in giving Julen Lopetegui a lifeline as West Ham manager after a difficult start to his tenure.

Bowen has contributed eight goals this season (four goals and four assists), which is 40 percent of the team's 20 goals, and a Monday night trip to Bournemouth could improve those figures.

Wolverhampton-Matheus Cunha

Gary O'Neil was sacked as Wolves boss this weekend with the club sitting 19th in the Premier League standings with just nine points, but Cunha can hold his head high as he has had more impact than any other player in the team also.

The 25-year-old has been involved in just under half (45.8 percent) of Wolves' 24 goals this season and without his efforts the club could even be below Southampton.

However, Cunha could face a costly spell on the sidelines as the FA consider punishing him for shoving his hand in a referee's face after the weekend's defeat to Ipswich.
