Saudi Arabia to offer Barcelona forward €20m per season contract

Barcelona wants to secure at least one important sales this summer to alleviate their salary limit problems, and a number of names have been mentioned as a potential departure. As the tendency has happened, Saudi Arabia emerged as a potential solution for the Blaugrana.

Last summer Hansi Flick Raphinha persuaded to stay in the club, but Saudi Arabia would be his destination in a large movement, one that would have relieved their financial problems. Franck Kession had previously left the club € 12.5 million in the summer. Fermin Lopez and Andreas Christensen were both associated with a move to the middle -east, with the last Robert Lewandowski for a second summer in a row.

According to Jijantes, Saudi Arabia is also thinking of a movement for Ferran Torres. They would be willing to pay Torres € 20 million a year for a deal of three years, and were willing to meet the asking price of Barcelona. So far, Torres has been reluctant to leave the club, in the middle of the left to the Premier League.

Former Barcelona striker Jean-Marie Dongou also explains that the 18-year-old winger Jan Virgili was also a target for Saudi Arabia. Virgili, who only wrote his first Senior Deal this season until 2027, could have earned just under € 20 million for four years, but rejected the offer to try to make it in Barcelona.

There were certainly reports that Virgili received approaches from Saudi Arabia in January, when Barca Atletic Starlets Unai Hernandez and Pau Prim also corresponded to deals to move to the middle East. Virgili looks like he's now on his way to the club, with RCD Mallorca who is interested in signing him. Given the problems with the salary limit, which so far Joan Garcia and Marcus Rashford have not registered, Barcelona are open for a sale for Virgili.
