According to Italian journalist Nicolò Schira, Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson is no longer considered an important part of the plans of the new head coach Enzo Maresca.
The 24-year-old Senegal International came to Chelsea from Villarreal in the summer of 2023 for € 37 million. Last season he made 36 performances for the blues, scored 13 goals and offers 6 assists.
Schira reports that Jackson is no longer seen as a core player in the Maresca project, which could lead to his departure from Chelsea during the summer transfer window.
Jackson is currently appreciated at € 50 million on a transfer market.
