Scotland: Uncapped Lennon Miller, James Wilson in as Lewis Ferguson returns for Nations League play-off against Greece

Scotland head coach Steve Clarke has not mentioned 18-year-olds Lennon Miller and James Wilson in his team for this month's play-off against Greece.

Hearts Striker Wilson had previously made only one performance for young people under the age of 19 and this season scored five goals in 17 Scottish Premiership performances.

Miller has made more than 60 first team performances for Motherwell since he had been broken into in the first team and was subject to failed bids from Europe in the summer transfer window.

Lewis Ferguson returns to the team for the first time in a year after an ACL injury that forced him to miss the euros. The last Scotland -performance of the Bologna Captain came in a defeat against Noord -Ierland last March.

Ferguson, 25, has 12 caps and has been set at the Serie A -side since he recovered from his injury.

Celtic – bound Kieran Tierney – who last played in the euro where he suffered a hamstring injury – is also back after returning to action in Arsenal and replaces Greg Taylor who fell in Parkhead in the pecking order.

Kevin Nisbet could make his first performance since a second half replacement appearance against Georgia in June 2023. The Aberdeen -Spits – which was mentioned in the October League team of Nations – scored five goals in his last six games for DONs.

Elsewhere, Rangers' Liam Kelly and Max Johnston from Sturm Graz are back in the team, with people like Robby Mccrorie, Ryan Gauld, Lewis Morgan, Connor Barron, Plus injured Duo Ben Doak and Lyndon Dykes.

Victory will keep Scotland in League A of the Nations League, while the defeat would see them falling a division.
