The blow of the latest loss of Sean Strickland is somewhat softened by an impressive stat.
Dricus du Pessis destroyed the noses of the crazy American on the way to a unanimous decision to keep his 185 pound title on UFC 312, which took place in the Qudos Arena in Sydney, Australia on Saturday evening.
Sean Strickland is confronted with a tough battle to go back in the title after he has lost twice against the champion.
The 33-year-old has the right to feel down at the moment, but a good thing came from UFC 312.

During Du Plessis vs Strickland 2, the commentators were paused to mention that a new UFC record had been set.
Joe Rogan's commentary replacement, Michael Bisping, was the perfect man to respond to the news.
'The Count' established the middleweight important strikes on 1384 at 1384 during his Hall of Fame career.

“Guys, we have been here once or twice,” said Strickland on Instagram.
“Dricus, pints, a great fightman, you broke my nose in six places, the silver lining is that my nose is so broken that it is very easy to reset, so that was a new experience.
“Losing suctions, but we all lose in life … I love the misery, I love suffering, because if you are miserable when you are in pain and suffer, the moment is gone … Life is good. “
