The former UFC champion middleweight has become a division in sport for several reasons.
Away from some of his controversial opinions, Sean Strickland is still able to split fight fans with the way he approaches the sport.
The 33-year-old often talks a good game and is known as one of the biggest troublanships in the UFC, which was consistently shown in the construction of his first fight with Dricus du Plessis on UFC 297.
Part of his pre-Fight-Persona is guaranteeing that the fans will fight or dead fight when the octagon door closes and he has made similar explanations about his upcoming Rematch with the South African in the UFC 312 main event.
Despite what he said about waging war with Dricus du Plessis on 8 February, fans now know to expect his usual style that is highly dependent on his defensive possibilities while he chips his opponents with some strikes.

Michael Bisping emphasizes inequality in what Sean Strickland says versus what he does
In a recent episode of The Believe You Me Podcast, Michael Bisping and Paul Felder spoke about the trash-spotlight approach of Strickland and how it does not match his fighting style.
She specifically referred to his current feud with the Welterweight champion, Belal Muhammad, one of the many beef in which 'Tarzan' has been involved in recent years.
Bisping, a former middleweight champion itself, joked that although the conversation does not always match the action, it still provides an entertaining build.
“He always talks about, you know,” Vecht D ***-to-D ***, nipple-to-nipple, to death! ” And then he has his style, the way he fights, with respect, I don't try to talk about S *** a bit of conflicts, you know, but he is an entertaining B ****** In the run -up to the fight, on the press conferences, he is now one of the most entertaining people.
His fellow -fc commentator, Felder, agreed with this sentiment and even pointed out how Strickland could use this inequality to his advantage.
“You are right, it's pretty funny that the energy he puts outside in the run -up to the fighting and then the energy with which he fights is completely different. However, it is a bit genius in a way because he lures these boys to think: “We will have this bloody fight back and forth, only dog fight,” and then he is very strategic. '
Sean Strickland must live up to his own words on this occasion
Although the former champion does not necessarily have to go outside and encourage the battle of the year against Du Plessis to become two -time middle weight champion, following his earlier comments may not be the worst approach.
He narrowly lost his first match against 'Stillnocks' and although he had his considerable part of success, the defending champion could not effectively implement his style to control the fight.
Strickland does not have to leave his approach, but being a little more aggressive can enable him to push the pace and force du plessis in a game that he does not want to play.
We already know how the challenger will fight as soon as the opening bell sounds, but increasing the intensity can be the difference between revenge or repetition.
