While Sean Strickland is preparing this weekend for his second shot at UFC Gold on UFC 312, he wants to exchange the barbits with middleweight Boogeyman Khamzat Chimaev.
Their words war has been ugly, with Strickland who insults Chimaev's relationship with a Chechen dictator and Chimaev who insults Strickland's relationship with his father. If Strickland du Plessis beats in their rematch on UFC 312, it seems increasingly likely that we will see Chimaev fighting for the throne, especially given the submission of Chimaev about Robert Whittaker at UFC 308.
