Sean Strickland has sent a hair -raising warning to Khamzat Chimaev while the couple comes closer to a long -awaited meeting in the Octagon.
The former middleweight champion is entirely focused on taking back the belt of Dricus du Plessis on UFC 312 next week. But he is aware that the Swede is almost certainly the next challenger for the title, regardless of who wins.
And despite earlier training with Chimaev in sessions where he admits that he is being tapped several times, the American is confident to win a victory if they do the square.

While Sean Strickland is preparing to go to Australia for a new world title effort, his next fight seems to have an imminent shade. The man who throws such a silhouette is Khamzat Chimaev, who, according to many, is the rightful top candidate after destroying Robert Whittaker at UFC 308 in October.
“He is a good cash fight,” Strickland admitted during an interview with the Schmo. 'I welcome it, you are a good cash fight. We go into that beautiful deep water, you are going to struggle for three minutes and get tired.
'Then I will get my way with your Chimaev, it will be a lot of fun. And by the way, Chimaev, every now and then these guys are all a couple ***** in this organization, they are all a couple ****** guy.

The problem of Strickland with Chimaev seems to start outside the Octagon. He believes that a Cyptocurrency error was a 'scam' from the middleweight candidate and that it was deliberately done to fleec his followers.
“I don't even consider Chimaev as a man and let me tell you why,” Strickland went on. “The little crypto-scam he was going on, I had approached someone and say: 40% of this.”

“They wanted to make a coin of me, and the moment they said I thought I was” you're off *** ing conistent, I'm not going to do that, you're a piece of s ***. ” I don't care if I would earn $ 500,000 or a million, I'm not going to do that.

It is a drastic change of an interview with the SchMO that Strickland gave three years ago when he admitted that he had been submitted by Chimaev several times. There are also images of the time of the middleweight that tells his now-rival to do it easy for others because he is how good he is.
“The man is crazy,” Strickland said at that time in a completely different tone of interview. “I mean, he believes so much in himself.” Then he asked Schmo, whose real name Dave Schmulenson is what he thought of the session.
This led to an uncomfortable exchange, before Schmo was forced to admit that he had seen Chimaev Strickland several times just a few moments earlier. “Listen guys, Jiu Jitsu?” Strickland teased. “I do the f *** ing man dance.
