Reinier de Ridder believes he can beat Khamzat Chimaev

Reinier de Ridder was very impressed by what he saw of Khamzat Chimaev in the weekend.

However, the Dutchman still believes that he is the Kryptonite of the Grappler.

In an interview with MMA Fighting, the former title holder of the championship that he presents said: “A unique challenge. My skills are very different from the other boys.

“I am very much at the fight. We are working on it, so I hope it will come together.

“If he takes me down – good. If he wants to get up – good.”

De Ridder is planned to compete against Anthony Hernandez in UFC Vancouver on October 18. And if he wins, he is more than willing to fight Chimaev just a week later.

When asked if he would take the match on UFC 321, the warrior replied: “100%. No hesitation. Send the contract now.”
