Serie A big spenders eyeing up January moves for Barcelona pair

Barcelona need to sell before they can make a move for January's top goalkeeper Marcus Rashford and they have several suitors for departure. Two of those are Eric Garcia and Ansu Fati, and at least one could head to Italy by the end of the month.

As MD reports, Como is interested in Garcia and Fati, and the major Serie A players have already made preliminary inquiries into possible deals. However, they are finding it difficult due to the abundance of clubs already interested in the Barcelona duo.

Como, who are managed by ex-Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas, have already signed Jean Butez, Assane Diao and Maxence Caqueret on permanent contracts in recent weeks, so it would be interesting to see if they have the money needed to to draw. Garcia and/or Fati.

Barcelona are said to be prioritizing the departure of Fati, who they hope to replace with Marcus Rashford. As such, it could be more likely that the young winger will head to Italy, although it remains to be seen if that will be the case.
