A club from Italy has asked about signing Chelsea Forward Nicolas Jackson this summer – as well as another Premier League star.
Jackson, 24, has been the most important attacker in Chelsea in the past year, with his only real competition in the form of Christopher Nunku, who prefers to play in a deeper position.
The attacker enjoyed a solid return on the songs front, which took 10 Premier League goals in total – 13 in total – and regularly praised manager Enzo Maresca pulled in his debut season that was in charge of the club.
However, frustration is growing around the attacker, which was sent in the third to previous Premier League match of the season for an elbow during the defeat on his side by Newcastle.
Jackson was then sent in the World Cup in the club in the second match of Chelsea against Flemengo, which means that he will only return from the suspension in the semi -final. He is also suspended for the Premier League seal opener against Crystal Palace in August.
But now he can be offered a way out, in which football Italia reported that AC Milan asked about signing Jackson this summer.
Milan is desperate to sign an attacker in the current transfer window, and Jackson could very well be the answer to their prayers if the opportunity occurs. Chelsea has signed Liam Delap and Joao Pedro for £ 30 million and £ 60 million this summer respectively.
It has been reported that the name of Jackson was mentioned during the negotiations for Archie Brown, who is left with Ghent and is also important for Milan.
Brown has the same agent as Jackson, which means that a relationship has already formed between Milan and the entourage of the blues man.
However, it is reported that Jackson will only be sold if an important offer arrives. Milan had tried to sign him from Villarreal before his move to Chelsea in 2023 – and he was also connected to Arsenal this summer.
Elsewhere, Milan would also have asked about signing Crystal Palace's Jean-Philippe Mateta, whose contract is next summer.
Mateta has been monitored by a number of European clubs – including Manchester United – but Milan can be those who make a move and try to protect his services with a Cut -Price deal.
Mateta continued his fine form for Palace last season, scored 17 goals in all competitions and helped his party to win their very first big trophy in the FA Cup.
Mateta came to Palace from Mainz in January 2022, but was quickly moving again.
The report suggests that other strikers on the shortlist of Milan Juventus' Dusan Vlahovic and Bayern Leverkusen's Victor Boniface include.
Last season, Milan finished eighth in the Serie A, who came in second year before.
Massimiliano Allegri, however, has been appointed as the boss of the club for the new season with the aim of improving the club's fortune.
