Barcelona sees a collision course with Marc-Andre ter Stegen as part of a bizarre row over his injury repair.
In recent weeks have been dominated by the constant stand -off of Ter Stegen with the club after his back operation last month.
The arrival of Joan Garcia from Espanyol in June placed the Germany International in an uncomfortable position in Catalonia with its No. 1 place effectively removed.
However, Barcelona needs a 'favor' from Ter Stegen to actually register Garcia as a La Liga player, and to ratify the expansion of Wojciech Szczesny at the club.
Ter Stegen initially stated that he would only be out for three months, so that Barcelona could not activate the rule of La Liga about the use of the salary space of injured players' to register new stars.
The goalkeeper has also rejected permission for his medical report that is sent to La Liga, where Barcelona claims that his absence will be four to five months.
In a drastic step, Barcelona has now opened the disciplinary procedure against Ter Stegen and dissected him from the club capincy.
Despite the high bet, it is rumor that Ter Stegen is unmoved after the last update, and he wants to stay in place in Barcelona for the 2025/26 season.
According to Marca, if he blocks the opportunities of Barcelona to use the La Liga -Maas in the League, a maximum of seven players may not be eligible for their opening match of the campaign against Mallorca on August 16.
Garcia and Szczesny are directly involved as the options for covering for Ter Stegen, but summer signs Marcus Rashford and Roony Bardghji are also in danger.
Marc Bernal and Gerard Martin must be registered with Oriol Romeu and Hector Fort who completes the list.
It is expected that Romeu will leave in the coming weeks, which will give Barcelona room to maneuver, and the switch from Inigo Martinez to the Saudi Pro League offers a new financial boost.
