Seven players could miss Arsenal vs Fulham as Arteta confirms new injury

Bukayo Saka may be back for Arsenal against Fulham on Tuesday evening, since December with a hamstring injury, but Mikel Arteta will be without at least four stars due to an injury

Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Bukayo Saka is in line to make his long -awaited return for Arsenal at home on Fulham on Fulham on Tuesday evening for three months offside with a hamstring injury.

But the Gunners stay without four players for Marco Silva's visit to the Emirates, while the Cottagers make the short journey through London without three stars due to an injury.

Arteta hinted that Saka could even start in his press conference for the game and Arsenal offered a huge boost for their quarterfinals of Champions League versus Real Madrid.

“Bukayo is ready to go,” said Arteta before he said the English star could start if necessary. “Well, the cautious is already done. So now it's all about placing it in the grass at the right times.

“But he pushes because he really wants it. We have respected the time frame, we did everything and we even have to stop him. So he is ready to go.

“It is again a huge weapon that we have with him. We know the impact he has had on the team and how important his role and his contribution to our success is. So great to clear him clearly.”

However, the absent list of Arsenal remains remarkable. Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz were both sidelined for the rest of the season due to long -term injuries, while Riccardo Calafiori returned from the international break with a different knee problem.

“He again had an injury with the national team,” Arteta added. “It is really a shame how it happened. It could have been much worse, so hopefully it will be a matter of weeks, but we will have to see how that injury evolves.”

At the back, Takehiro Tomiyasu is probably no longer to appear again this season after a knee operation, but Arteta could welcome Jurrien Timber, who missed Dutch luminaires due to illness.

“Jurien was sick for a long period of time, very bad. He felt much better in recent days, so he is available.”

For Fulham, meanwhile, the former Arsenal player Reiss Nelson is not forthcoming because of a hamstring injury, in which Harry Wilson and Kenny Tete both wanted to return from single and knee issues to the second half of April.
