Shara Magomedov and his English opponent promised a stand -up fight and they delivered – but it did not end how everyone expected when they fought for the full three rounds in the ANB Arena in Riyad on Saturday evening.

Magomedov struggled to land something good for 10 minutes. The 30-year-old was told by his coaches to leave everything in the Octagon, and he did the pace in the last frame but it wasn't enough.

The #15 arranged Welterweigt participant spoke after his great victory with former light weight Ster Paul Felder.

“Big Up, Saudi Arabia,” said Page. 'Thank you for having me here.

“You are extremely hospitable and I hope you would like me back.

“Please, I would like to come back.”

Page then looked directly into the camera and said a famous rule from the movie “Captain Phillips”.

He added: “Everyone, look at me! Look at me! I'm the captain now! “
