Hull City stunned promotion hopefuls Sheffield United to escape the Championship relegation zone, storming to a 3-0 win at Bramall Lane on Friday.
Chris Wilder's Blades had a chance to overtake Leeds United at the top but they fell behind inside six minutes when Matt Crooks fired home from outside the area after Alfie Gilchrist failed to clear his lines.
Sheffield United failed to record a single shot on target until Callum O'Hare's film was turned over the crossbar by Ivor Pandur in the 51st minute, then the hosts fell victim to a controversial strike six minutes later call.
Moments after being introduced as a substitute, Tyrese Campbell stepped behind to flick past Pandur, only for the linesman's flag to rule offside.
However, replays showed that Sean McLoughlin may have played the Blades man out of bounds, and Hull almost immediately postponed that countdown when replacement Matty Jacob arrived home.
The Tigers then killed the game two minutes from time when Harrison Burrows bundled Joao Pedro's cross into his own net to seal Sheffield United's biggest defeat of the season.

Debrief details: Hull's Road Run continues
Hull have now won three league games without conceding a goal, the first time they have done so since March 2011.
It was only their second win in their last 18 trips to Sheffield United (six draws, 10 defeats) in a 1971 run.
Ruben Selles' side are now up to 18th, two points clear of Derby County, who occupy the last spot in the relegation zone.
