Hull City was astonished promotion candidate Sheffield United to escape from the relegation zone of the Championship and stormed on Friday to a 3-0 win over Bramall Lane.
The Blades of Chris Wilder had the opportunity to catch up with Leeds United at the top, but they fell behind within six minutes when Matt Crooks rushed from outside the area after Alfie Gilchrist did not succeed in freeing his lines.
Sheffield United did not succeed in noting even one shot on goal until the tap of Callum O'Hare was turned over the bar by Ivor Pandur in the 51st minute, after which the hosts became the victim of a controversial phone call six minutes later.
Just after he was introduced as a substitute, Tyrese Campbell fell behind and shot past Pandur, but the flag of the linesman went up because of offside.
Realingen showed, however, that Sean McLoughlin possibly played the Blades-Man on-Side, and Hull almost immediately took care of that postponement when substitute Matty Jacob Pore home.
The Tigers then put an end to the game two minutes before time when Harrison Burrows bundled the cross of Joao Pedro in his own Net, which ended Sheffield United's greatest defeat of the season.

Details: Hull's road ride continues
Hull has now won three league games in a row without getting a goal against, the first time since March 2011.
It was only their second victory in their last 18 trips to Sheffield United (six equal games, 10 defeats) in a series that goes back to 1971.
Ruben Selles' team is now eighteenth, two points ahead of Derby County, which occupies the last place in the relegation zone.
