‘Shut your mouth’… Jon Jones belittles Tom Aspinall after interim champion says he no longer cares about fighting him

Jon Jones has beaten his heavyweight rival while frustrations only continued to grow.

Many people get tired of the delay around a potential fight between Jones and Tom Aspinall to unite the heavyweight titles.

Jones recently claimed that he already told the UFC what his plans were a few months ago and he is confused about why they did not make them public.

A petition to strip Jones van de Riem has received a lot of attention with fans who have heard their voices that they want to continue from 'Bones' title line.

The interim champion has spoken similar feelings with Aspinall who opened up about how difficult this process has been for him while he stays on the sidelines.

Jon Jones lashes out to Tom Aspinall after the recent comments from Interim Champion

Jon Jones responded on social media to a message that some recent comments from Tom Aspinall emphasized with regard to their potential title Unification Clash.

The interim champion recently appeared on the podcast of Demetrious Johnson, where he said that his ultimate goal is no longer aimed at defeating 'bones'.

In his interview after the fight at the UFC 304, Aspinall made it clear that he has nothing personal against Jones, he just wanted to test himself against the consensus of all time.

Because this looks unlikely, the Brit is now only aimed at becoming the undisputed champion, regardless of the next steps of Jones, who broke records during his interim line rule.

The current heavyweight champion clearly did not seem so friendly that Aspinall wanted to continue from this constant Saga while he took to his rival with an answer to the post.

Jones belittled the interim champion because he claimed that he is tired of waiting for a fight that is still in the air.

“Close your mouth and do what you are told.”

Jon Jones confused fans with his recent comments about retirement

During his recent series of answers to social media, Jon Jones looked to clarify his current status.

In the end he only made things more confusing by saying that he is currently taking a break of fighting, but he is not officially retired at the moment.

“I don't know if I want to retire, I feel that I will always have the opportunity to stand out and show them. I have had a lot of breaks during my career, my identity outside fighting is well intact. I really enjoy life, I grow in different ways.”

I don't know if I want to retire, I feel that I will always have the opportunity to jump out and show them. I had many breaks during my career, my identity outside fighting is well intact. I really enjoy life, I grow in different ways. https://t.co/XUH1DIQVR1

The response of the fans to social media pointed to the fact that if Jones does not intend to completely retire or remain active, he must give up the title in both ways to continue Aspinall and the rest of the division.
