Sir Alex Ferguson has made his statement about Manchester United's new plans to build a stadium of £ 2 billion, 100,000 seats, as announced on Tuesday morning.
The Red Devils have confirmed ambitious plans to produce a new site within five years, with rowing and plans that were previously unveiled on Tuesday with the proposed new land.
The new Old Trafford includes three gigantic towers, inspired by the trident of the Red Devils, dominate the skyline and holds the 'umbrella' effectively – a sweeping glass and steel canopy above those fans drying inside and outside, which would be comfortable the largest stadium in Great Britain.
Fans were divided on the idea, in which some compare the new stadium with a 'circus', while there were others who thought it could help them bring them to a new era.
While plans seem forward anyway, the club at least received a verbal rubber stamp of perhaps the most important man in their history.
“Manchester United must always strive for the best in everything it does, on and next to the field, and that includes the stadium in which we play,” Ferguson said.
“Old Trafford has so many special memories for me personally, but we have to be brave and seize this opportunity to build a new house, suitable for the future, where new history can be made.”
A huge Wraparound scoreboard also contains, along with a three-storey museum and restaurants on the canal side as part of a huge Fandorp in a project Sir Jim Ratcliffe says that it will retain the essence of Old Trafford … while the fan experience only transforms footsteps from our existing house '.
Man United has also ambitiously proposed that the stadium, which would become the largest covered space in the world, will be completed within a period of only five years.
“Our current stadium has served us brilliantly in the last 115 years,” said Petrochemicals billionaire Ratcliffe, who has made the project a priority since he took a 29 percent share in his boys' club a year ago.
'But it has fallen behind the best arenas in world sport. By building in addition to the existing site, we can retain the essence of Old Trafford, while we create a real state-of-the-art stadium that the fan experience only transforms footsteps from our historic home.
“Just as important is the possibility for a new stadium to be the catalyst for social and economic renewal of the Old Trafford area, creating jobs and investments, not only during the construction phase, but on a sustainable basis when the Stadiumistrict is complete,” Ratcliff added.
“The government has identified infrastructure investments as a strategic priority, especially in the north of England, and we are proud to support that mission with this project of National, as well as local, meaning.”
Lord Norman Foster, founder and executive chairman, Foster + Partners, added: 'This must be one of the most exciting projects in the world, with incredible regional and national significance. It all starts with the experience of the fans, which means they get closer than ever to the field and a huge roar of acoustic cultivation.
