Sir Jim Ratcliffe reportedly received a choir of angry from Manchester United staff during a screening of the Europa League final.
The Ineos Chief had one of the best seats in the house for the gloomy 1-0 defeat of the Red Devils by Tottenham in Bilbao on Wednesday evening and took the game with club legend Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ratcliffe made the unpopular decision not to give club staff free tickets for collision at the San Mames Stadium, instead arrange a look for them at the Warehouse location in Manchester.
And the athletic claim that the billionaire was stuck when he came on the screen with Avram Glazer.
The couple would have been hunted when they came on the screen during the game and then an extra time.
The reported barracking from Ratcliffe does not come as a surprise because he has made a series of brutal and radical cuts at the club since his official shares shares in February 2024.
Last September Ratcliffe decreased no fewer than 250 employees as part of a large cost -saving scheme.
And Sunsport only revealed in February that another 200 employees were informed that they run the risk of being fired.
Ratcliffe's scrimping on tickets for the latest LED manager Ruben Amorim to pay 30 of his back room staff and their family members to attend the competition from his own pocket.
Amorim's future under Ratcliffe is much doubt after the defeat by Spurs, who has sentenced United to a season 2025/26 without European football.
And the Portuguese have offered to leave the club for free as Ratcliffe and the rest of the brass of Red Devils do not believe that he is the man for the job.
He said: “At the moment I will not be here to defend myself.
“It's not my style, I can't do it. It's really difficult for me.
“So I have nothing to show the fans and say,” I'm going to improve this, I have these problems … “I will not do anything.
“At the moment it is a bit of faith. Let's take a look.
“I am always open, if the board and the fans have the feeling that I am not the right man, I will go without any conversation about compensation the next day.
“But I won't stop. I really have faith in my work.
“As you can see, I will not change anything in how I do things.”
