Sir Jim Ratcliffe has admitted that some players from Manchester United “are not good enough” to be in an amazing interview in the club.
United is currently a shell of the club they were when the legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson was on the Old Trafford Helm.
Over the years, the Red Devils have signed various high -profile players for extremely lucrative contracts.
Several of those expensive signing sessions have been a financial disaster, of which Ratcliffe thinks a number of the current players of the club can be categorized as.
The Ineos Chief said to the BBC: “Some are not good enough and some are probably paid too much.
“But for us to form the team for which we are fully responsible and responsible will take time.
“We have this period of transformation where we will go from the past to the future.
“There are some great players in the team as we know, the captain is a fantastic football player.
“We absolutely need Bruno Fernandes, he is a fantastic football player.”
Ratcliffe officially acquired a 25 percent interest in Manchester United last February, after he agreed a deal with the Glazer family in the last December.

And he was soon confronted with the fact that the club still has excellent payments on players they have signed before he arrived at Old Trafford.
He said: “If you look at the players we buy this summer, which we didn't buy, we buy Antony.
“We buy Casemiro, we buy [Andre] Onana, we buy Hojlund, we buy Sancho.
“These are all things from the past, whether we like it or not, we have inherited those things and have to figure it out.
“For [Jadon] Sancho, who now plays for Chelsea and we pay half of his wages, we pay £ 17 million to buy it in the summer. “
Erik ten Hag was at the helm when Ratcliffe became a large shareholder in the club.
United, however, continued to stay bone after the November appointment of New Gaffer Ruben Amorim.
The Red Devils have lost nine of their 26 games among the Portuguese and are an incredible 36 points behind Premier League-Table-Top Liverpool.
But the former sporty Lisbon chef Amorim currently has the full support of Ratcliffe and the rest of the United Brass.
He said: “If I really look at the team that is available for Ruben, I think he is doing really well to be honest.
“I think Ruben is an excellent young manager. I really do that. He is an excellent manager and I think he will be there for a long time.
“You start to see a glimpse of what Ruben can produce. I think you saw a glimpse against Arsenal.
“How many players against Arsenal on the couch have you recognized?
“How many have a Manchester United shirt ever worn for it [the first team]… because there is no team left.
“We are real until the last 10 or 11 men in the team, from the right first team players. Ruben is doing super work.”
United will be back in action on Thursday evening and welcome Real Sociedad in Old Trafford for the second stage of their Europa League last 16 draw.
