Marc Skinner expressed his disappointment about the performance of Manchester United in the FA Cup final when they members a 3-0 defeat against Chelsea in Wembley Stadium.
Sandy Baltimore inspired the blues on their third trophy of the season on Sunday with a brilliant performance.
Baltimore found the net on either side of Catarina Macarios Bullet Header to crown a dream debut campaign for Chelsea -Baas Sonia Bompastor.
Chelsea was indeed the first Super League team for ladies that completed a domestic Treble on two different occasions, after he had also done this in the 2020-21 campaign.
The blues won the WSL, League Cup and FA Cup crowns without losing a single match.
United worked hard to impose himself early, but had trouble keeping pace with the WSL champions as the game progressed.
They fell at the back of the tranquility when Baltimore slid home from 12 meters after Celin Bizet had fallen into the box.
Baltimore then set up Macario in the 84th minute before adding her second of the game in the first minute of the second half of the stop time.
Skinner thought about the performance on his part and acknowledged that they kept physically equal pace, but thought it was no courage with the ball.
“We started well. We physically linked them, but I wanted us to be more brave with the ball,” he said in a press conference after the game.
“But honor to Chelsea and congratulations to them with the season they have had.”
He also pointed out in areas where United has to improve to compete at the highest level, and added: “The game was waved on set pieces. We have a lot of work to do.”

Skinner also revealed that Ella Toone, who started the final on the couch, took care of a knock and he had to be selective about when he had to introduce his star player.
“Chelsea tries to physically dominate in midfield. I felt that if we started the game without physically matching them, we would not have a foothold in the game,” he said.
“[Introducing Toone] Was almost over balancing for the right time and the possibility to change the game. “
Toone's introduction led to a short flurry of opportunities for United, with her and Elisabeth Terland to create opportunities in the second half, but it was ultimately a comfortable victory for Chelsea.
This was the third FA Cup meeting of the ladies between these two games, with the Blues won the final of 2023 before the Red Devils got revenge in the semi-final of last season to claim the title.
And in what his fourth FA Cup final was, Skinner eventually lacked, with the United -Baas now lost three times in the showpiece, once with Birmingham City in 2017 and twice with United, in 2023 and 2025.
