Liverpool boss Arne Slot admitted Liverpool's 2-2 draw with Fulham meant losing two points but was proud of his side's efforts.
The Reds fell behind after Andreas Pereira's early goal, but were dealt a telling blow when Andy Robertson was sent off after just 17 minutes.
After equalizing through Cody Gakpo early in the second half, the hosts had to come from behind again. Rodrigo Muniz scored after 76 minutes and Diogo Jota equalized with four minutes to play.
Slot's side have worked hard for a winner, but after winning eleven of their first thirteen league games of the season, they have now drawn their last two.
The Liverpool manager told Sky Sports: “I don't think I could have asked more from my players, especially after going down to 10 men.
“I couldn't have asked for more in terms of performance. Of course we could have had two more points.
“We ended with a draw and I don't think we can blame the referee for that. There were a few moments where I could have gotten a yellow card.
“They are marginal moments and when some go against you, you think some will go for you, but I didn't feel that here.
“We have to accept what the VAR sees. I think Robbo may have been a little too injured to continue because normally he is faster than that, but it results in a red card.”

Fulham manager Marco Silva was equally pleased with his side's effort but rued a missed opportunity to claim a famous win.
The Cottagers have dropped 17 points from gaining positions in the league this season, the most of any side, and Silva knows they should have been more clinical.
He told Match of the Day: “The match here is emotional. The crowd plays a big role and with the quality of Liverpool they are almost unstoppable.
“I think the red card added more emotion to the match. We had to keep more possession and let it run more. We responded well and had three against four so often.
“We should have gotten three points. With one more player and the lead, we were too open. I have to praise our players for their attitude and commitment.”
