Diogo Jota is fit and ready to return to the Liverpool squad after just two months on the sidelines, with the Portuguese ready to boost Arne Slot's attacking department.
Darwin Nunez has scored just three goals all season and has been criticized by fans for being wasteful in front of goal, with heavy touches and wayward passes galore.
But 28-year-old Jota has had a full week of training and will be on the bench for Liverpool's match against Fulham on Saturday.
The Portugal international has not played since suffering a rib injury against Chelsea seven weeks ago.
Summer signing Federico Chiesa also took part in team training last week and has overcome a virus that kept him out of the midweek trip to Girona.
'I think so [available this weekend],” Slot said during his press conference ahead of Fulham's visit on Saturday.
'We have one more training to go, Federico has missed a lot for a long time, he was sick last week so we have to see how he is doing.
“Maybe Diogo will be in the selection, maybe Federico too, but that depends on the numbers and how he has recovered from his illness.”
Chiesa has played just 78 minutes since his £12.5million move from Juventus.
He accelerated his recovery last week with an appearance and a goal for Liverpool Under-21s.
Liverpool sit top of the Premier League, four points clear of second-placed Chelsea, having played one game fewer than the Blues.
