Snoop Dogg becomes investor in Swansea City.
Sky Sports News has learned that the American rapper and producer are planning to use his own money to invest in the club, just a few days after they appeared in their new home kit launch video.
The American owners of Swansea, who are led by Brett Cravatt and Jason Cohen, try to grow the worldwide brand of the Championship Club and to increase commercial income.
Snoop Dogg, 53, has 89 million followers on Instagram and more than 20 m on X.
In April, Luka Modric was announced as co-owner and investor of Swansea.
Swansea did not announce how much the Ballon d'Or winner 2018 had invested, but he expressed excitement about the chance to use his knowledge to help the Welsh outfit.
Modric said: “This is an exciting chance. Swansea has a strong identity, an incredible fan base and the ambition to compete at the highest level.
“Play at the highest level, I believe I can offer my experience to the club.
“My goal is to support the growth of the club in a positive way and to help build an exciting future.”
