‘So long as they got NFL & Beyonce they’re happy’, Redknapp slams Spurs owners

Jamie Redknapp has beaten Tottenham Hotspur's ownership in a brutal anger on live TV.

The former Spurs midfielder is not impressed this season with the shabolic version of the club.

The outfit of Noord -London has lost 13 games in the Premier League and were set in 15th place prior to Sunday's game against Manchester United.

Manager Ange Postecoglou has come under enormous pressure because of the poor form and FA Cup and Carabao Cup outputs.

Spurs has had to deal with most injuries in the competition, but are still far away from their usual standards.

The club has stimulated income flows from the field, because the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is a common location.

This year the stadium is again playing host for pop star Beyonce and NFL matches.

Tottenham recently expanded their collaboration with the NFL to the 2029/30 season.

Redknapp, however, believes that this has paid the attention of the performances of the team on the field.

He has claimed that the club's sign is happy, as long as there is a “successful” company instead of a football team.

At Sky Sports he said: “As long as they have American football and they have Beyonce in the summer, they are happy, the owners are happy.

“It looks like a business model that everyone can be happy with that can be successful.

“But is that a winning environment?

“No, it's not because something is fundamentally wrong.

“They have tried to do both, but it did not work and it did not work as Daniel Levy wants.”

Spurs -fans organize a huge protest against club chairman Daniel Levy during the match against United.

The demo is organized by Fed-Up Season-Ticket Holders called Change for Tottenham.

Protesters march for the game and organize a sit-in protest on full-time in the South Stand.

The goal is to put pressure on the majority owners who sell the club – and to be chairman Levy.
