Leon Edwards and Khamzat Chimaev have been booked to fight each other three times.
After being dominated by Belal Muhammad last July at UFC 304, Leon Edwards knew that he had to bounce back in his next fight to stay in the title photo.
The Brit was then booked for UFC London against colleague striker, Jack della Maddalena, in Headline, before the Promotion has upgraded the Della Maddalena to fight for the title on UFC 315, as a result of which Edwards left a late notification against Sean Brady.
Unfortunately for the British fans, Edwards was given his second loss in a row after Brady had submitted him in the fourth round and had given him his first career loss.

Fans predict how Leon Edwards vs Khamzat Chimaev would have gone
During his endeavor for the title of 170 pounds, the promotion Edwards booked three times against Khamzat Chimaev.
The couple was booked for the first time in 2019 to fight on the UFC Apex, but a positive COVID-19 test on the Edwards side ruled him out of the game.
They were then booked to fight only a month later during a fighting evening in Abu Dhabi, but 'Borz' withdrew from the battle for continuous issues of COVID-19.
A few months later the promotion went Lucky for the third time, but Chimaev withdrew due to health complications, which later led to Chimaev's first retirement of the sport.
Given the last few versions of Edwards against printing groupers, fans have revised the previously planned matchup between 'Rocky' and the Chechen.
“It's crazy, I completely forgot that this would be one thing. Fortunately,” a fan noticed.
“Forget Khamzat. Imagine what Islam would have done to him,” another fan suggested.
During the reign of the 33-year-old as champion, lightweight champion, Islam Makhachev shed several times through that he can move to 170 pounds to challenge Edwards for the title.
“Didy avoid 3 bullets back to the back,” said another fan.
Michael Bisping suggests the next UFC fight by Leon Edwards
With the UFC career of Edwards that now spirits a downward route, it is necessary that he bounces back with a victory in his next outing.
And with that, the British UFC legend, Michael Bisping has planned his way back to the title, starting with a fight against Ian Machado Garry.
'Rocky' and 'The Future' have somewhat a feud that goes back to when Edwards had the welterweight title. Machado Garry trained for a short time in the Edwards gym before he was asked to leave.
With both hunters who want to come back to the win column and it is a favorable striker versus Spits -Matchup, it can work for both good weights.
