Barcleona midfielder Pedri has stated that he has never enjoyed football as much as he is currently, with the Blaugrana that strives for a triplicate when things stand. On Wednesday evening, Barcelona Atletico Madrid defeated 1-0, which extended their unbeaten run to 21 games in 2025, with only three draw between those victories.
Pedri, however, noted that there was no hint of complacency or feeling of invincibility within the team, despite their strong form.
“We don't feel unbeatable, because we have lost a few games. There are always things to improve, we always do that, and we also have to be self -critical about the things we are doing wrong, but we are currently in great form and have trust at the moment,” he said Sport.
Their victory over Atletico Madrid has set up a Clasico final against Real Madrid in La Cartuja in Seville.
“We are happy to reach another final. Let's play and try to win it. What we want is the fans exciting. A final against Real Madrid, they will clearly not be easy for us. It is clear that we don't have to be afraid of every team. We are Barca and we will try to control the game against everyone, but we should have a game of them.”
The star of the game was again Lamine Yamal, who played the Atletico defense in the first half. Pedri was asked for advice for the 17-year-old.
“I tell him that he has to keep doing what he is doing, to have fun. Although you sometimes have to cut his ears … But that's okay,” he noticed with a bitter smile on his face.
