Son Heung-Min praised on Ange Postecoglou after the Australian was fired as Tottenham manager.
The football world was turned upside down on Friday when Tottenham announced that after two years they separated with their head coach.
The decision came only 16 days after Postecoglou Spurs led to Glory in Bilbao and Manchester United beat 1-0 in the San Mames to win the Europa League.
Victory also marked the club's first silverware since a Triumph Triumph in 2008, and marked their first European trophy in more than four decades.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, Son greeted the influence of Postecoglou in North Londs and claimed that he is 'a better player and a better person' as a result of working under the former Celtic boss.
“Gaffer. You have changed the process of this club, “wrote the Spurs Captain.
'You believed in yourself, and us, since the first day and never faltered for a second. Even if others did.
'You knew what we were capable of all the time. You did it your way. And your way brought this club the best evening he had in decades. We will have those memories for life.
'You trusted me with the captain. One of the highest awards of my career.
'It was an incredible privilege to learn from your leadership up close, I am a better player and a better person because of you.
'Ange postecoglou, you are forever a Tottenham Hotspur legend. Thank you, size. '
