Son Heung-Min says that the final of the Europa League of Wednesday will be “the biggest day of my life” because he will lead Tottenham to Glory against Manchester United.
The two parties, who are in the Premier League 16th and 17th, want to save silverware from their enormously overwhelming seasons with victory in Bilbao.
Tottenham will travel to Bilbao after Friday's 2-0 defeat against Aston Villa, in which they only registered one shot on goal before they fell to their record-similar 25th loss of the campaign in all competitions.
It was an eighth reverse in 11 league games for Spurs, although Son for the first time since their Europa League quarterfinals first stage against Eintracht Frankfurt returned to the starting line-up on 10 April on 10 April.
The skipper, who returned last weekend as a replacement against Crystal Palace, got 74 minutes under his belt to build fitness prior to what his third final with Tottenham will be.

Son was part of the side that was defeated in the 2018-19 Champions League final by Liverpool, as well as Manchester City in the EFL Cup final two years later.
The 32-year-old will hope to be lucky in his 10th season in the club. It would not only be the first silverware of Spurs in 17 years, but also the first trophy of Son's career.
“At the end of the day we can win a trophy, that's what we are all looking for,” he said BBC Sport.
“Wednesday will be the biggest day of my life. It will be great. We will be enthusiastic and I hope we can write history.”
The confrontation marks the first All-English Europa League final since a Chelsea Arsenal inspired by Eden Hazard with 4-1 defeated in the showpiece 2018-19 in Baku.
Spurs will want to win the competition for the third time and add it to their UEFA Cup triumphs in 1971-72 and 1983-84.
