Tottenham Hotspur officially confirmed on Wednesday evening the departure of club legend-son Heung-Min by sharing a video of the 33-year-old who says goodbye.
The video – which was shared via social media and caption: 'Best Spurs -Fans … Sonny's letter to you' – was accompanied by Sombre Music.
It started with son who sat down and said: 'Dear Spurs fans, you are always on my photos. Every time I four, I make a memory of you. It's our moment. I make the frame, so I don't forget. '
This was a reference to Son's trademark goal, which makes it mime a photo.
It is a party that Tottenham supporters have seen a lot, since SON has scored 173 goals since he arrived at the club of Bayer Leverkusen in 2015.
Son continued: 'You welcomed me in North Londs, you saw me grow. Beautiful moments; The Golden Boot, the Puskas Award … you were there.
“When I suffered, you were still there. You stayed with me and I stayed with you. '
It was no secret that the 33-year-old was on the road this summer.
Speaking last week before his last performance for Spurs in a pre-season in his native South Korea, the son broke out during a press conference when he stated: “I decided to leave the club this summer. Respectfully the club helps me with this decision.
