Son of Arsenal legend Paul Merson scores INSANE goal in non-league football

Sam Merson, son of Arsenal -legend Paul, scored an incredible goal on Tuesday that has since become viral on social media.

Paul enjoyed an illustrious career for the Gunners and scored 99 times in 417 games, while also representing the will of Middlesbrough, Aston Villa and Portsmouth.

The former attacker won 21 caps for England and yielded 154 times during his time in the competition.

However, nobody will have come close to the goal that Sam, 29, last night for the eighth layer of Harkworth Villa.

Sam, 29, enjoyed a career exclusively in Non-League who has previously seen him represent as Biggleswade Town, Redditch and St Albans City.

On top of the Table Farnham Town, Hanworth took in the Isthmian League South Central Division.

And with just four minutes on the clock, Merson made an incredible start to the game.

While he took a perfect touch to control a long ball, pirouetted while the ball turned over his shoulder.

He then unleashed a stunning volley about the helpless Farnham keeper and at the back of the net.

The finish led to wild parties among the Hansworth players, with different teammates from Merson, just left with their hands on their heads.

There were only 204 fans present at their parsonage Meadow Ground, which is located in the London Borough of Hounslow.

The strike was the 17th of Merson's campaign, although it was not enough to win because the match ended with 1-1.

The result saw Hroorth, for whom Merson SNR briefly played in 2019, reinforced their place in seventh place, only one point of the play-offs.
