Son of ex-UFC fighter shouts out ‘Rampage’ Jackson with insane slam KO at UFC Vegas 109

One of the scariest slam knockouts you will ever see took place at the UFC Apex.

A hunter on the UFC Vegas 109 -Prelims was sent to the hospital after he was beaten on his head.

This was one of the many vicious finishes on the UFC Fight Night Card, head through a middleweight fight between top candidates Roman Dolidze and Anthony Hernandez.

Two hunters remained on their stools on Saturday evening, including former Valentina Shevchenko -Vijand Priscila Cachoeura after a ko loss.

The other, UFC Bantamweight Toshiomi Kazama, was on the receiving side of a devastating Slam Knockout on which Jackson Jackson of UFC Legend Quinton would be proud of.

Elia Smith lands Rampage Jackson Style Slam Ko on UFC Vegas 109

Elia Smith is the son of the former UFC hunter and double 'The Ultimate Fighter' participant Gilbert Smith.

Smith was in the corner of his son when he picked up his opponent Kazama while he had him in a triangle.

The 22-year-old Smith gave some air time and closed Kazama for what Daniel Cormier called the most devastating SLAM Ko who the former UFC champion has ever seen.

However, that was not all, because Smith landed two more land and strikes after a chance collision of heads. The referee stopped the match at 4:10 of the first round.

“Shoutout Rampage Jackson,” Smith said immediately afterwards, pay tribute to Jackson, known for his SLAM Kos.

Toshiomi Kazama became unconscious in the Octagon for a few minutes and was sent to the Trauma Department of University Medical Center, 23 minutes from the UFC Apex, John Gooden said on the broadcast.

Kazama finally sat down on the stools while Smith was interviewed by Daniel Cormier.

“I want to pray for my opponent,” Smith said after the fight.

“I hope he makes it safe at home,” Smith said about Kazama.

“I knew I had to hit. Unfortunately I had to hit him on his dome …”
