‘Spit right in your face’… Bo Nickal sends defiant message to doubters after first loss

Bo Nickal keeps coupons after the first defeat of his professional career last weekend.

At UFC des Moines, Nickal was stopped by Reinier de Ridder in the Co-Main event after the unbeaten prospect was forced to answer some questions he has never asked in the Octagon before.

The decorated wrestler has been a controversial figure since he arrived in the UFC, with De Ridder getting an enormous amount of support for this fight.

Because the American was one of the most discussed hunters in the middleweight division, the reaction to his first defeat brought a lot of criticism of Nickal.

When he thinks about the fight, the 29-year-old stated that he will remember everyone who has counted him so that he can return the favor when he reaches the top.

Bo Nickal plans to use all criticism of his first loss as an ammunition when he reaches the top

In the last episode of his podcast from his Nickals and Dimes, Bo Nickal spoke in detail about his first loss in the Octagon and everything that happened before and after 3 May.

Many fans were happy that he would see the defeat testing after the rising competitor had received a substantial push from the UFC that saw him in a number of large spotlights.

Colleague hunters were specifically critical about the way in which Nickal responded for the first time to adversity after he was stopped by the strikes of an entry specialist.

The former representative of Pennsylvania State University said that he is keeping all these comments in mind, so that he can remind his doubters of what they said as soon as he achieved success.

Nickal believes that this setback will serve as an invaluable learning experience that he can then use as a reminder to show who really stays through thick and thin.

“Suck my d – at the end of the day, say what you want. But if I get on top of and I am the freaking champion of the world, you will all come back. They will always do it, and I will spit in your face right away.

'As soon as you crawl back and [say]”I'm coming an interview.” Where were you? … Each of you who says a bad thing, I have the memory of an elephant. “

The criticism of Bo Nickal is blown far out of proportion

At UFC des Moines we have seen some defects from Bo Nickal who have never been exposed in the Octagon before.

The wrestler did not respond well to the adoption of actual damage by an opponent who offered a legitimate attack, but you must not forget that he is fighting against a top 15 -opponent in his eighth professional fight that only signed with the UFC in March 2023.

Nickal still learns at work and this fight showed that he still has to collect much more experience before he is ready to fight the top boys in the division.

The decision of the UFC to consistently put him in the spotlight has led to this enormous reaction from the fans after he was not this unbeatable monster to be 185 pounds.

Nickal's own comments did not help this, but if you ask a hunter when they think they are the best in the world, you get a lot of the same answers.
